2/18/2004 Capital Campaign reaches a significant Milestone!
October
14, 2003, Michael Young, Capital Campaign Chair announced at Interval
House's 30th anniversary celebration that a significant milestone had
been reached. Michael
Young, Capital Campaign Chair announced that Interval House has
purchased a site for its new shelter for abused women and children.
Interval House took possession of the new site on October 14th at 4:00
pm.
"There is still much more work to be done, and money to be raised for
the renovations that are required before we can move in" stated Mr.
Young. "However, we anticipate that we will be opening the doors to the
new shelter in Autumn of 2004.

The new shelter will provide much needed additional space for Interval
House to continue to offer programs and services to women and children
fleeing abuse. The Interval House Board of Directors and staff would
like to express our heart felt thanks and appreciation to everyone that
has helped us reach this milestone!
The Board of Directors and staff are very pleased to be so close to
realizing our dream to build a larger, more accessible shelter for
abused women and children however, we are in need of more funds to
reach our $4.5 million Capital Campaign goal. If you or someone you
know would like to help us reach this goal, please visit our donation
